Probably one of the most pleasing and aesthetic of all lining construction projects combining geosynthetics with nature to produce what is all too often a most compelling result.

Re-worked and compacted soil liners are never fully watertight and bespoke geomembrane liner systems can not only be tailor made to fit a variety of pond sizes and irregular geometries, but can be constructed so that it is not obvious that a liner is in position at all. Products which have been proven in more demanding building and civil construction works are now being realised in these “lighter” engineering projects.

The use of very flexible and colourful liners are sometimes covered with natural stone or soil cover which present a “harder” finish visually and protect the liner system from any possible mechanical damage during operation. There remain, however, definite requirements for proven liner attachment details to pipes , fountain stems , border or perimeter details and inlet / outlet details – all of which can be supplied by Enviro Seal on request.
