Works on the major landfill capping liner project in Essex have continued after the spell of bad weather. The extra installation teams have been sent to site to ensure the project stays ahead of schedule.

The internal roof lining of three anaerobic digestion tanks in Jersey has been completed with a final mobilisation to site in June to complete the seals to a number of protrusions. Alongside this project the technicians have been working on the lining the base of a reception building, bunds and secondary containment in the Midlands.

The design of a containment system was developed by the technical department for the lining of two leachate treatment pads in Scotland. A three layered system, designed specifically for the site, was installed, tested and handed over in two days.
